Welcome to my wildlife photography website. Ever since I was a small boy I found nothing more enthralling than watching with awe and wonder, the native wildlife on my own doorstep in Cardiff, South Wales. I was fortunate to grow up with a wood opposite my house, a river near by, and the costal foreshore only a short cycle ride away.
Unfortunately my pocket Kodak instamatic camera (a lot of money in those days) was not really the appropriate tool for recording what I observed, although I am still left with the vivid memories of my encounters! Nowadays, photographic technology has moved on a bit, and I do have more than the few pence per week pocket money that I had as a boy to spend on camera equipment. I believe it does not get much better than watching wildlife, however, recording the experience too, is something else!
The aim of this website is to share my fascination of nature and the recording of it through my photographs and anecdotal records. If this website inspires you to go and have a closer look at the nature around you and record it for yourself, then it has done its job! |
